About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in theoretical ecology and evolution. I am based at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany, in the Department of Eco-evolutionary modelling.

Research Interests

My research aims to reveal fundamental relations between biotic interactions and evolutionary dynamics. I am particularly interested in the effects of combining different types of interactions. For example, I have studied coevolutionary transitions between mutualism and antagonism and the evolutionary assembly of tripartite mutualistic-antagonistic ecological networks, such as plant-pollinator-herbivore networks. The methods I use include adaptive dynamics, quantitative genetics, individual-based modelling, network theory and dynamical systems theory, employing both analytical and simulation-based approaches.
